Now, they prefer a glass of wine to other types of alcoholic beverages in their social lives. “Wine consumers in China are savvier, more informed and more demanding than ever before,” Chuan Zhou, a senior research analyst at Wine Intelligence wrote in the report. “They are increasingly seeking good value, and assert their individualism through wine consumption.”
